Week 3
4/15   Hi everyone, this week would you  listen to a piece of music without words and draw a picture of what you imagine while you listen.  How did it make you feel? )    luck

For all in Band these are the steps to register your band book online so you can play along.  a try

1. Go to https://www.essentialelementsinteractive.com/ and click on 'Students'. Click on 'Create an Account'2. The site will ask you for the EEi School Code. Type in RushfordPeBand80 and hit 'Enter'.

3. Next, the site will ask you for your 'EEi Student ID', which is your student ID with RP, or the student's lunch number. Type that in hit enter.

4. Check the first two boxes saying you own an Essential Elements book and that you have read the Terms of Agreement and whatnot.

5. Enter the activation code (this is found in the first page of the EE book). If your book is older and doesn't have an activation code, there should be either an ISBN-#13 or ISBN-#10 located on the bottom of the first page or on the back cover of the book near the barcode. Type that in and hit enter.

6. ask you to create a username and password. It will confirm this with you, then log you out so you can log back in.

7. Upon logging in, you will be asked to provide an email. It isn't necessary, but it might help in case you forget password later on :)

8. You're all set! Parents can create their own account on this website. You can go to the login page, click on 'Parents' and go through a similar set-up process.

Hi all, hope your first day is going well.  I would  like to put some activities for the 5th grade class,
Why don't you try one a week, and see how that goes.  You can do on a blank sheet of paper.

Week 2 at home 4/7
If you play trumpet or percussion and are going to join me on zoom today, the code is https://us04web.zoom.us/j/9054996997
 The password is  975650

For week two, 1.  Talk to someone older than you about their music performance experience.
2. Did they play in the school band, or sing in the choir?
3.  Have they played since high school, like in college, church, community groups?
4.  Ask them about their favorite time they played.  Good luck, see you soon.

Week 1 at home 3/31

Talk to a family member in person or on the phone, ask them
Who was your favorite musician when you were in school?
Your favorite kind of music, has that changed over time?
Did you ever see your favorite, in concert?
What was the best concert you ever saw?

Now listen to some of the music they talked about, and write down your thoughts,
Good luck, save your findings to share with O.
